About Dina & Energy Arts Education

Overview

Dina Fraboni has been in the field of energy medicine, life counseling, esoteric teachings, and personal development since the early 1980's. She has enjoyed a richly diverse practice, and developed skills for working with people from many cultures, personal goals, and learning styles.  

As a teacher, mentor, and practitioner, Dina has supported the personal growth and healing of people around the world since 1998. She has taught in a wide range of settings including online forums, yoga and retreat centers, public talks. ceremonial circles, clinics and accredited institutes; Life Energy Institute in L.A., and South West Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, from 1998-2019.

 Dina is certified in multiple modalities of mind body wellness practices, healing arts, and counseling skills. She is a highly trained psychic medium, remote healer, and movement channel. Dina has been initiated into earth based wisdom practices of the americas, Europe, and women's spiritual practices of both modern and ancient traditions. She is the founder of Energy Arts Education (2014).

Mysticism and Shamanic Training

Dina began her training in spiritual mysticism, psychic development, and women's spiritual studies with Victoria Ransom, in 1986 until 1989. She then embarked on her three year training program in shamanic practice (Lakota lineage), completing in 1992. This included studies in native history, culture, and spiritual practice, the shamanic nature and wisdom teachings. Special emphasis was placed on experience in ritual and ceremony as prayer, developing relationship with nature, the elements, and directions, plant, animal and spirit communication, shamanic mysticism, and self reflection.

Dina continued her shamanic development with Michael Harner at The Foundation for Shamanic Studies in 1997, and subsequently furthered her practice in drum journeying, shamanic healing, and core shamanism under the steady guidance and patient mentorship of Amanda Folger, still a cherished mentor and dear friend today.

Movement

Dina's early history is in theater and classical dance, and then film and television. Her performing career eventually evolved to include her spiritual devotion. She spent many years in devotional dance circles, and performed for sacred festivals, sacred music events, 

and women's spiritual events. 

Dina lead a weekly women's sacred dance circle from 1996-2003. and then irregularly, as special events until 2020. She taught devotional movement at healing retreats and private events throughout the 90's and early 2000's. Dina's women's dance circles drew women of every stage of life, from the ages of 19-73 years. Her all inclusive public circles drew all genders together inspiring deep respect and harmony.

Dina includes sacred movement as an expressive tool in healing workshops, as meditative movement in personal growth workshops, or group and special event experiences.
